A "General" Category is an activity that a person would do at a specific time (not recommended as Choice Categories). These are activities that must be done at a time that in most instances is influenced by daily life. For instance, one does not go to the barber until a haircut is needed, or to the bank, until there is a need for money or a need to deposit a check. |

CHOICE CATEGORIES A "Choice" category gives a person the opportunity to make choices in their life by choosing from a collection of activities or places. These are activities that a person might desire to do at any given time. For example, one can choose whether to go to the park, go swimming, take a bike ride, or play basketball. (Any of the following choices may also be used singularly as a Main Category.) Choice categories follow:

In addition to the 80 categories above, a person can select from 5 specialized categories. These categories must use materials from Visions Communications Collection ® and, therefore, there is an additional cost. Specialized Categories can be used as one or more of the eight Main Categories to form the picture prompting program. An example of a Specialized Category would be a recipe category to choose from a selection of 100 recipes from the Visions Menu of Mealsä .
