CHOICE CATEGORIES

A "Choice" category gives a person the opportunity to make choices in their life by choosing from a collection of activities or places. These are activities that a person might desire to do at any given time.   A person may have up to 8 choices to make one Main Category on the touchscreen.  (Any of the following choices may also be used singularly as a Main Category.  i.e.  Finding recycled cans as a weekly job, or taking regularly scheduled walks)

«Outside Recreation choices (shown at left) can mostly be done right in the neighborhood or nearby.  Because of this philosophy, some of the Categories have no prompts for using the bus and no prompts for returning from the activity.  The goal for these categories was the opportunity to just pick up and go.

« Link to any of the Outside Recreation categories of interest (shown at left) and review the prompt CHECKLIST.  The Individual may choose any or all of the prompts.  Prompts should be chosen to meet the unique needs of the Individual - not too many, not too few.
