GROCERY SHOPPING

One of the most popular categories, Grocery Shopping works hand-in-hand with the Recipe or Meal Category because this Category does Meal Planning and picks the ingredients needed for the Recipes.  For Information on what books and pictures are needed for this category, link to the Communications Collection.

Choose any or all of the following:

___It's time to get ready to go to the Grocery Store.

___Do you need to call someone to let them know that you are going?

___Get out your red menu of meals book and your yellow meals for the week book.

___You also need your Grocery Picture List Book and your Grocery Picture Container.

___Take all of the pictures out of your yellow book and put them back in your red book.

___Choose your meals that you want to make this week.

___Now you can put your meal pages in your Yellow Book to use all week.

___Pull all of the ingredient pictures out from behind each meal picture.

___Look through the pictures in your grocery container and pull out everything that
     you need to buy at the store.

___Put all of the pictures in your brown picture list book.

___Have you cut out your grocery coupons?

___Make sure you have your grocery check to cash at the grocery store.

___Get the money in your grocery bag.

___Get the money that you will need.

___Don't forget to get your checkbook.

___Put your money in your wallet.

___Put your money in your fanny pack.

___Put your money in your purse.

___Do you have your bus pass?

___Do you have the money you need for your transportation?

___Get what you need for your transportation.  (customization)

___Do you have your bus # card to match with the # on the bus?

___Do you have your keys?

___Do you have your discount card?

___Remember your wallet.

___Remember your purse.

___Be sure that you have your ID card.

___Is your ID card in your wallet?

___Do you have your grocery coupons?

___Do you have everything you need in your fanny pack?

___Do you have everything you need in your purse?

___Do you have everything you need in your pocket?

___Get your Green Community Book and your Black Communication Book.

___Find this picture in your Green Book.

___Take your bus # card out of your Green Book and put it in your Black Book.

___Put your Black Book in your pocket.

___Put your Black Book in your purse.

___Put your Black Book in your fanny pack.

___Put your Leave-A-Note picture on the table.

___Are you going to take your shopping cart with you?

___Do you need a coat or a jacket?

___Don't forget to get a receipt, if you can.

___If you are going to walk, be sure to watch for cars.

___Watch the clock to see when you have to leave.

___When you leave, be sure that your door is locked.

___Welcome back. You can put your Leave-A-Note picture away.

___Put your groceries where they belong.

___Don't forget to fold and put your sacks away.

___Be sure to put your shopping cart back where you got it.

___If you have a receipt, you can put it in your receipt bag.

___If you have a receipt, put it away.

___Put your grocery coupon bag away.

___Put your Grocery Money Bag away.

___If you have money leftover, put the money in your money bags and jar.

___Put your money where it belongs.

___Put your checkbook where it belongs.

___Is your bus pass in the right place?

___Did you put your keys away?

___Put your wallet where it belongs.

___Put your fanny pack where it belongs.

___Put your purse where it belongs.

___Make sure your Green Community Book is open to the picture of where you were.

___Take your bus # card out of your Black Book and put it back in your Green Book.

___Take the ingredient pictures out of the brown picture book and put them back behind the meal pictures in the yellow book.

___Put the rest of the grocery pictures back in the grocery container.

___Finally, put all of your books back where they belong.
